Database Administrator


As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and security of our company's databases. Your role will involve ensuring the availability and performance of our databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for implementing data backup and recovery procedures to ensure the integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Implement data backup and recovery procedures
- Ensure database security by managing user access and permissions
- Optimize database performance through indexing and other techniques
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for new applications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management
- Provide technical support to end-users for any database-related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Familiarity with SQL language and data manipulation techniques
- Knowledge of database security practices and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Location:
This position is located in Lisbon, Portugal. We are open to considering candidates from other countries who require visa sponsorship.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
