Entry-Level Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Database Administrator to join our team in Lisbon. As the Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring the security and integrity of data, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in database management and a desire to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures
- Assist with data migration processes as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of database management principles
- Proficient in SQL language and experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
