Database Administrator

We are searching for a skilled Database Administrator to maintain and administer our company's databases. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience with database management systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases in accordance with business needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop backup and disaster recovery plans for all databases
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing necessary access controls
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize database design for application performance
- Conduct regular database maintenance tasks such as data backups, upgrades, and migrations
- Document all database changes and procedures for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Location: This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Salary: The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
Employment Type: This is a full-time job with regular office hours.
