Gardener (Kenyan Nationals)
We are seeking experienced gardeners from Kenya to work in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and green spaces of our clients. This is a physically demanding job that requires knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscaping.
Responsibilities:
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants according to client's preferences
- Prune and trim trees and bushes to maintain their health and shape
- Water plants regularly and ensure proper drainage
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed
- Maintain clean and organized garden areas by removing weeds, leaves, and other debris
- Monitor plant health and identify any diseases or pests, taking appropriate actions to address them
- Install new landscaping features such as walkways, planters, or irrigation systems
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences regarding their gardens
Requirements:
- Kenyan nationality preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of different types of plants, gardening techniques, and landscaping principles
- Ability to use gardening tools such as lawnmowers, pruners, shovels, etc.
- Biometric passport required for visa processing (if not already obtained)
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping preferred but not required
