Librarian


A reputable library in Herzliya is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's resources, assisting patrons with research and reference requests, and promoting literacy and learning within the community. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for literature and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the library including acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, and maintenance of materials
- Assist patrons with research requests and provide reference services
- Promote literacy and learning by organizing events such as book clubs, author visits, and workshops
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to enhance library services
- Train and supervise library staff, interns or volunteers
- Stay updated on new publications, technological advancements in library services, and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Urdu or other Pakistani languages is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Herzliya. Pakistani nationals living in Israel with valid work permits are preferred.
