Library Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Library Assistant to join our team in Herzliya. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Librarian in maintaining and organizing the library's collection, as well as assisting patrons with finding and checking out materials. This is a part-time position, ideal for students or those without previous experience in a library setting. No English proficiency is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in cataloging and shelving new materials
- Help patrons locate and check out materials
- Process returned items and ensure they are properly reshelved
- Assist with creating displays and promoting library events
- Provide basic reference and technology assistance to patrons
- Maintain a clean and organized library space

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, currently enrolled in college preferred
- Proficiency in Hebrew, English proficiency not required but a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Friendly demeanor and desire to assist others

Salary: 1300$ per month

Location: Herzliya, Israel (foreigners welcome)
