Entry-Level Computer Support Specialist in Braga, Portugal

Our IT company is seeking an Entry-Level Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Braga, Portugal. In this role, you will provide technical support and assistance to our clients with computer hardware, software, and network issues. You will diagnose and troubleshoot problems, perform maintenance tasks, and educate clients on proper computer usage.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of computer systems and be able to work well with others. No prior experience is required as we will provide training on our specific systems and processes. We are also offering accommodation for non-local candidates. However, you must have your own visa to work in Portugal.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to client requests for technical support via phone or email
- Diagnose and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates and backups
- Educate clients on proper computer usage and provide resources for self-help
- Document all support activities in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic understanding of computer systems and technology (e.g. operating systems, networks)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies and processes

Salary: Starting at 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
