Preservation Architect Assistant

We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Preservation Architect Assistant to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an assistant, you will support our team of preservation architects in their daily tasks and contribute to the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting site visits and surveys to assess the condition of historic structures
- Collect and analyze data on building materials, techniques, and history
- Collaborate with team members to develop preservation plans and strategies
- Draft detailed reports on findings and recommendations for restoration or conservation
- Assist with preparing drawings, diagrams, and other visual aids for presentations or proposals
- Support project management activities such as budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in preservation techniques

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of architectural history, building materials, construction techniques, and preservation principles
- Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for data collection and analysis
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines

Salary: $1300 per month (part-time)
Location: Almada, Portugal
