Barber Apprentice

We are in search of a passionate and dedicated Barber Apprentice to join our team at our barber shop in Funchal. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced barbers and develop your skills in cutting, styling, and grooming services for men. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in the barbering industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced barbers with various tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, and preparing tools
- Observe and learn different techniques for hair cutting, styling, and grooming
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Practice on mannequins or willing participants under the supervision of senior barbers
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed

Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but a strong passion for barbering is a must
- Must be willing to learn and take direction from experienced barbers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must have a valid visa for working in Funchal (visa sponsorship available for exceptional candidates)
- Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills is a plus)

Salary:
Starting salary of 1100$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
