JAVA Developer

As a JAVA Developer at our company in Svalbard, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your main focus will be on creating efficient and reliable code using the JAVA programming language. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using JAVA
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Test and deploy software applications
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in JAVA development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other JAVA-based frameworks
- Proficient in SQL databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
