Blast Furnace Worker


A blast furnace worker is responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces, which are used to extract iron from its ore. This job requires physical strength, as well as knowledge of the equipment and processes involved in the production of iron. As a blast furnace worker, you will work in a hot and noisy environment, alongside a team of other workers. You will be required to monitor the furnace's temperature, pressure, and chemical composition regularly to ensure that it is running efficiently. In case of any issues or malfunctions, you will need to make necessary adjustments or repairs. Another essential responsibility of this role is loading and unloading materials into the furnace using heavy machinery. This job also involves regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the safe operation of the furnace.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical strength and endurance
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations and equipment
- Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Relevant experience preferred but not required

The salary for this position is $900 per month.
