Back-End Developer - Bergen, Norway (Contract)


We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating front-end elements into the application. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development and experience working with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python or Java. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side of web applications
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from front-end
- Integrate front-end elements into application
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and fix any bugs or performance issues
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python or Java
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Express.js or Django
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of microservices architecture

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
