Junior Software Developer


As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work closely with a team of experienced developers to gain hands-on experience and grow your technical skills. This is a contract job based in Atlanta, with the possibility of remote work.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new software features
- Writing efficient and well-documented code
- Performing unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software
- Collaborating with team members to identify and resolve technical issues
- Participating in code reviews to improve the overall quality of the codebase
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)

Preferences:
While not required, the following are preferred:
- Previous experience working on software development projects (personal or professional)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a salary of $1600 per month. The salary will be reviewed after 6 months based on performance.

Location:
This position is based in Atlanta but has the possibility for remote work.
