We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance. Your role will involve conducting research, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You must have a passion for historical architecture and attention to detail to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures to determine their cultural significance
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to oversee restoration projects
- Monitor the progress of restoration projects to ensure they align with the preservation plan
- Utilize traditional building techniques and materials for restoration projects when possible
- Prepare reports and documentation of completed preservation work
- Stay up-to-date on new preservation techniques, materials, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Strong understanding of architectural history and preservation principles
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to historic preservation
- Experience creating preservation plans and overseeing restoration projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Salary: 1600$ per month (without accommodation)
Nationality: Preference for Portuguese or EU citizens with valid biometric passport
Experience Level: Entry level/freshers may apply
