Computer Support Specialist

We are hiring a Computer Support Specialist to join our growing team in Kaunas. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for various computer systems and software. Your duties will include installing and configuring hardware and software, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing training to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively. This is a full-time contract position with a salary of 1600$. Applicants must have their own visa for working in Kaunas.

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by end-users
- Provide training to end-users on how to use new systems or software
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
- Communicate technical information in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot complex issues
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of computer systems and hardware components
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
- Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, MacOS)
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Must have own visa for working in Kaunas
