We are in need of an experienced Mason to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and buildings using materials like brick, concrete blocks, and stone.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mason
- Experience in constructing and repairing various structures
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Knowledge of different types of building materials and their properties
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Mix mortar or grout using cement, sand, water or lime according to specified proportions
- Use tools such as trowels, levels, hammers, chisels, or jointers to shape or cut materials
- Align bricks or blocks carefully in order to ensure evenness and uniformity
- Verify vertical and horizontal alignment using plumb bob levels or transit levels
- Remove excess mortar with trowels or scrapers before it hardens
- Repair damaged structures by replacing bricks or filling cracks with mortar
