Merchandiser (Contract) - Khanpur, Pakistan



We are currently seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team on a contract basis in Khanpur, Pakistan. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and preferences and ensure that products are displayed effectively in stores.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising plans that align with company goals and objectives
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product placement and promotions
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences, needs, and behaviors
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Create attractive displays that effectively showcase products
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques
- Conduct store visits to ensure merchandise is presented according to company standards
- Attend trade shows and events to stay updated on industry trends

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, trends, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, make decisions, and solve problems effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel for store visits or trade shows as needed

Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field is required.

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 USD per month.
