Back-End Developer - Akron, Ohio, USA


We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Akron, Ohio. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites and applications, from layout to function. You will work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain server-side code for web-based applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing code
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in back-end development
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of web development principles (RESTful APIs, MVC architecture)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing web applications using AngularJS or ReactJS
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of Git version control system
