Back-End Developer & Biometric Passport Specialist
Location: Akron, USA or remote
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer with expertise in biometric passport technology to join our team. As a Back-End Developer & Biometric Passport Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end systems of our biometric passport application. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and accuracy of biometric data within the system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for our biometric passport application
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Ensure the security and accuracy of biometric data within the system
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise in the back-end system
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to biometrics and passport technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with databases, particularly SQL databases
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of biometric technology and its applications in passport systems is preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with team members
- Excellent communication skills
