Job Title: Petroleum Engineer - Well Drilling Operations
We are hiring a Petroleum Engineer with experience in well drilling operations to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the drilling and completion of oil and gas wells. You will also be responsible for selecting appropriate drilling techniques and equipment, analyzing drilling data, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing well programs based on geological data and reservoir characteristics
- Selecting appropriate drilling techniques and equipment
- Preparing cost estimates for drilling projects
- Analyzing drilling data to optimize well design and production
- Monitoring well progress and identifying potential issues or risks
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Communicating with stakeholders including geologists, drillers, and contractors
- Providing technical support to field operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in well drilling operations
- Knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and materials used in the oil and gas industry
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make recommendations for optimization
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Ar-Ruwais (accommodation provided)
