Elevator Installer



We are currently hiring for the role of Elevator Installer in Akron, Ohio. As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining elevators and escalators in buildings and other structures. This position requires physical strength, mechanical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain elevators and escalators according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, and test elevator components
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical issues with elevators
- Ensure safety standards are met during installation and maintenance processes
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
- Complete required paperwork documenting work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in elevator installation or related field preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the job (lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Akron, Ohio. While we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, we prefer candidates who are currently living in or willing to relocate to this area.
