We are a leading publishing company based in the United States and we are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Typesetter, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality print and digital materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about typography and has an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize software programs such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress to create layouts for print and digital materials
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and consistency in the final product
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to meet project deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and new techniques in typesetting

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of typography principles, font management, spacing, and layout design
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software programs
- Attention to detail with excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position will be based in the United States.
