Plasterboard Worker

A reputable construction company in Svalbard is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of 900$ per month. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard panels to create walls and ceilings in various buildings.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Plasterboard Worker or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, materials and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut and install plasterboard panels according to building plans
- Smooth out joints, cracks and imperfections using trowels, scrapers or sandpaper
- Apply plaster or other materials to cover joints and create a smooth finish
- Repair or replace damaged plasterboard panels as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Communicate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
