Junior Developer (Contract)

We are a leading tech company in Oslo, Norway and we are seeking a Junior Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. You will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of our software products. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy new software features
- Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure optimal performance
- Assist in maintaining existing software by identifying and correcting defects
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of software development
- Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality code is delivered
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Junior Developer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
