Biometric Instrument Technician


We are hiring a skilled Biometric Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Khor. As a Biometric Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing biometric equipment used for identification and security purposes. Your main goal will be to ensure that all biometric systems are functioning properly and providing accurate data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair biometric equipment such as fingerprint scanners, iris scanners, facial recognition systems, etc.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with biometric systems and provide timely solutions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work done on biometric systems
- Train end-users on proper use of biometric equipment
- Stay updated on latest developments in biometrics technology and make recommendations for system upgrades or improvements
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with sensitive equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of biometrics technology and equipment
- Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills to interact with end-users and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical degree or certification preferred
- Prior experience working with biometrics technology is a plus
- Must have a valid biometric passport
- Applicants from Egypt or Kenya are preferred

Salary:
Starting salary of $1600 per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment.
