Preservation Architect


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Wiltz. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, while also ensuring compliance with safety and building codes. Your main duties will include conducting site assessments, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Preservation Architect
- In-depth knowledge of historical preservation techniques and methods
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate the condition of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans for restoration projects based on historical significance, budget constraints, and client needs
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during restoration processes
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules for preservation projects
- Oversee restoration projects, including managing budgets, timelines, materials procurement, and quality control
- Conduct research on historical buildings to inform preservation plans
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders throughout the preservation process
- Stay updated on advancements in preservation techniques and technologies
