Contract Baker

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Contract Baker to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to our recipes and quality standards. This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods using traditional methods
- Follow recipes and quality standards to ensure consistent and high-quality products
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust settings as needed
- Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and inform management when supplies need to be replenished
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of orders
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
- Continuously strive to improve baking techniques and introduce new products

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role is an asset but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and mixing ingredients for extended periods of time
- Excellent time-management skills to complete tasks within tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Own visa or the ability to obtain one is required
