Accountant - Khasab



Our growing company in Khasab is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1700 per month and includes accommodation. We welcome candidates from Egypt, the Philippines, or any English-speaking country.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Handle tax filings and other financial documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members and external partners

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently within tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Experience working in a contract job setting
- Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
