We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This position is ideally suited for a Pakistani national who is fluent in English and looking to start their career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record daily transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank deposits
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Communicate with clients to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)

This is an entry-level position that does not require prior experience. However, candidates with internships or coursework in accounting will be given preference.

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
