Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our upscale restaurant in Muharraq, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations. Your main goal will be to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests through your culinary skills and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative menus that meet the preferences and dietary needs of our diverse clientele
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure profitability
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and introduce new techniques or ingredients to enhance our menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and kitchen management
- Able to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, management, and guests from different backgrounds
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Certification from a reputable culinary institute is highly desired
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines is a plus
Salary: $1400 per month
