Moderator - Online Community Manager


We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Moderator to join our team as an Online Community Manager. As a moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing and engaging with our online community in a professional and respectful manner. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the community.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate all user-generated content on our online platforms
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Encourage positive interactions between community members
- Enforce community guidelines and policies
- Identify and report any inappropriate or harmful content
- Collaborate with other team members to develop engaging content and events for the community
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and updates related to the community

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an online moderator or community manager
- Excellent written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is preferred
- Passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive online environment for all users

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard, but remote work options may be available.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month without accommodation.
