Puncher Worker


Puncher workers are responsible for operating and maintaining punch press machines in a manufacturing or production environment. They work with various materials, such as metal, plastic, and paper, to create punched holes or shapes according to specific designs or dimensions. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience in using punch press machines and be physically fit to perform repetitive tasks. They should also have good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. This role requires someone who can work efficiently under pressure and follow safety protocols at all times. This is a full-time position located in Pula, with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate punch press machines according to specifications
- Inspect materials before punching to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints or design templates
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear at all times
- Meet production targets within given deadlines
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a puncher worker or similar role
- Familiarity with different types of punch press machines (e.g. mechanical, hydraulic)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (e.g. calipers)
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment

Preferred:
- Experience working with metal materials preferred but not required
- Familiarity with ISO standards preferred but not required
