Database Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Acre. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security and performance. Your main goal will be to ensure that data is organized, easily accessible, and backed up regularly.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor and optimize database performance
- Troubleshoot any database issues that may arise
- Ensure data is secured and backed up regularly
- Develop and implement data migration plans
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of databases with other systems
- Provide technical support to users of the databases
- Create and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database structure, theories, principles, and practices
- Experience with database software such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
Preferred:
- Certifications in database administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
