Instrument Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning correctly and are in compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on existing instruments and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Repair or replace faulty instruments as needed
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy of readings
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and any changes made to instruments
- Collaborate with engineers to improve instrument performance and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols at all times and report any potential hazards or safety concerns

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of various types of instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical instruments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to working with electrical equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
