Milling Machine Operator

We are a well-established manufacturing company based in Nakuru, seeking an experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating milling machines and be familiar with setting up and maintaining the machine for production. The role will involve reading blueprints, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring production to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:
- Operate milling machine to produce high-quality parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machine setup and operation requirements
- Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy and precision
- Monitor production process and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished parts for quality assurance
- Maintain proper documentation of production records
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating milling machines
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications on different materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
