Crane Operator
A reputable construction company in St. Petersburg is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes on construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance on cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Communicate effectively with other team members on-site to ensure smooth coordination of lifting operations
- Rig loads and attach them to the crane using proper techniques
- Use hand signals or radio communication to guide the movement of loads
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, equipment usage, and maintenance logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a crane operator in a construction environment
- Valid crane operator certification from an accredited institution
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
- Strong spatial awareness and depth perception skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operation
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Filipino or Kenyan language is an advantage)
- Experience with biometric passport is preferred but not required
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.
