Junior Web Designer


We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Bergen, seeking a talented and creative Junior Web Designer to join our team. This is a full-time position, ideal for freshers who are passionate about web design and eager to learn and grow in this field.

As a Junior Web Designer, you will work closely with our senior designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. You will be responsible for designing website layouts, selecting color schemes and fonts, creating graphics and icons, and ensuring that the website's design is consistent with the client's branding.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design principles and good knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also required. Experience with responsive design is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers to understand client needs and create website designs that meet their requirements
- Design website layouts, including navigation menus, headers, footers, etc.
- Select appropriate color schemes, fonts, graphics, and icons for each project
- Ensure that the website's design is consistent with the client's branding
- Optimize designs for different devices and screen sizes
- Work closely with developers to implement designs into functional websites
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
