Head Pastry Chef


As the Head Pastry Chef at our luxury hotel in Mauren, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate with a passion for creating beautiful and delicious desserts. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry recipes that align with our menu offerings and guest preferences
- Train and supervise pastry team members, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for the pastry department
- Ensure high quality standards are maintained in all pastries produced
- Oversee the preparation, baking, decoration, and presentation of pastries for various events and outlets within the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our pastry offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and presentation
- Fluent in English (French/German language skills preferred but not required)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mauren without sponsorship
