Radio Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment for both commercial and private use.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on existing systems
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with radio equipment
- Keep accurate records of all installation and maintenance work
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functionality of all systems
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of radio equipment, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers
- Familiarity with electronic principles and circuitry
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed
