Part-Time Executive Chef (Os, Norway)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis in Os, Norway. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing exceptional menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food production at our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase the best of local and seasonal ingredients
- Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food production
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Train and mentor junior chefs to help them develop their skills
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional guest experiences
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Ability to create unique and innovative dishes while also maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills preferred)
- Ability to work on weekends and evenings as required
Compensation:
This part-time position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month, with potential for growth. Accommodation will be provided as well as a free visa and ticket.
