Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of our hotel in Almada. Your main goal will be to increase revenue and occupancy through developing and implementing effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotel sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This is an urgent position with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients
- Train and mentor the sales team to achieve their targets
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in Almada or surrounding areas
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of local market trends and competitors
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Fluency in English (mandatory) and Portuguese (preferred)
Salary: $1700 per month
