We are in need of an experienced Mason to join our construction team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various materials such as brick, concrete, and stone. You will work on both residential and commercial projects and collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints to determine layout and specifications
- Measure and cut materials to required sizes
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Use hand or power tools to shape, trim or smooth materials
- Construct corners or walls using corner poles or grout lines
- Install insulation materials such as foam or fiberglass
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations
- Familiarity with different materials used in masonry work
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Good communication skills
