We are in search of a talented and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Bergen. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, monuments, and sites while adhering to strict preservation guidelines and codes. Your role will involve conducting thorough site inspections, creating preservation plans, and overseeing the execution of restoration projects. You will also collaborate with other professionals such as engineers and historians to ensure the preservation process is accurate and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural history, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This is an urgent part-time position that offers a salary of $1400 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture.
- Knowledge of historic preservation guidelines and codes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
- Fluency in English is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site inspections to assess conditions of historic buildings or sites.
- Prepare accurate drawings, photographs, and reports documenting existing conditions.
- Develop comprehensive preservation plans that adhere to applicable codes and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, historians, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful restoration projects.
- Prepare cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure they align with preservation plans.
- Review project progress against timelines and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates and any potential issues that may arise.
