Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia)


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at our upscale Indian restaurant in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and be able to lead a team of chefs to deliver high-quality dishes. This role requires excellent leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop and design new menus and dishes based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of chefs to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to meet the demands of the restaurant
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Work closely with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an upscale restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Valid visa sponsorship for non-Saudi nationals is available for this position

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month plus additional benefits such as accommodation and transportation.
