Surveying Assistant

The surveying assistant will play a crucial role in assisting the surveyor with various tasks related to land surveys and mapping. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, physically fit, and has a strong interest in surveying.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the surveyor with conducting land surveys using specialized equipment
- Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, and records
- Help set up and operate surveying instruments such as levels, total stations, and GPS receivers
- Conduct basic data analysis and produce maps using computer software
- Carry out physical tasks such as measuring distances, cutting brush, and setting markers
- Ensure that all survey equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in basic math skills including algebra and geometry
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and software is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in Nepali language (English proficiency is not required)
- Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate

Salary:
1500 USD per month

This is a contract position without prior experience necessary. However, candidates with some background knowledge or experience in surveying will be given preference. This is an urgent job opening so interested candidates should apply immediately.
