Contract Back-End Developer (Oslo, Norway)


We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our team in Oslo, Norway on a contract basis. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the server-side of our web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design and implement efficient and secure APIs for data exchange between server and client
- Develop reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues on the server-side
- Ensure high-quality coding standards and practices are followed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java, Python or Node.js
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on Agile teams using Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Familiarity with microservice architecture
Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1400$ per month.
