IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dickirch. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our company's employees, ensuring the smooth operation of all computer systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices
- Install, upgrade, and maintain computer systems and software
- Provide remote support to employees working from home or other locations
- Set up new user accounts and permissions in various systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Train employees on how to use new technologies or systems
- Ensure data security by implementing appropriate measures such as backups and firewalls
- Keep accurate records of all support requests and resolutions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Office 365
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer service-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
