Job Title: Instrument Technician - Oslo, Norway


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Oslo, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain various types of instruments and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, valves, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in instrumentation and control systems.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings.
- Read electrical schematics and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex problems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols while working on equipment.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and control systems.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical diploma or degree in instrumentation or related field preferred.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime pay.
