Retail Merchandiser in Nakuru, Kenya

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Retail Merchandiser to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating eye-catching displays and ensuring our products are presented in an appealing and organized manner. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will be working closely with our sales team to understand customer preferences and trends. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in retail merchandising and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities:
- Create attractive product displays to entice customers and increase sales
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences and buying habits
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the purchasing department for restocking needs
- Set up promotional displays and signage to highlight new products or special offers
- Conduct market research to identify current trends and competitor strategies
- Ensure that products are properly priced and labeled according to company standards
- Maintain clean and organized merchandise displays throughout the store
- Train new employees on merchandising techniques and company standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field is preferred
- 1+ years of experience in retail merchandising or visual merchandising
- Strong understanding of customer behavior, market trends, and competitor strategies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for product placement and aesthetics
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed

Salary: $1800 per month
