Registered Nurse - Contract Position in Svalbard



We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. As a nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care and support, while ensuring the highest level of professionalism and adherence to medical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure holistic care for patients

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexible schedule to accommodate shift work

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in remote or international locations
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Svalbardic) is an asset
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
